How to Edit or Update a Person's Name, Title, Role, and Status in the Organisation

Occasionally, you may need to update a person's details or change their organisational role. These changes can be made from the People List.

Edit a Person's Details

Open the People List from the left-side menu.

Click the person's name to open their profile.

  • Alternatively, select Edit from the context menu (three dots) next to their name.

Update the Person's Information

The following details can be updated:

  1. Name – Correct a spelling mistake, add a title or suffix, update a changed name, and review how the person's name will be displayed in BoardPro.

  2. Position title – Update their role or position within the organisation.

  3. Board Member status – Select the Board Member checkbox to allow the person to access confidential board papers and appear as a Board Member in attendee lists.

  4. Access level – Change what the person can view and do in BoardPro.

    Click Save to apply your changes.

Note: To help maintain security only Administrator, Board Secretary and Chair access levels can change someone's access level in BoardPro.
