eSigning is available on Premium and Ultimate Plans.
Upload your document
Upload your document to Governance Documents. You can store it in a folder or move it like any other document.
If your document is already in Governance Documents, you do not need to upload it again.
Request signatures
In Governance Documents, open the Options menu for the document and select Request Signature.
This option is available for all document types except spreadsheets.
The signature setup window will open. Here you can:
Select the first signer from the drop-down menu, then drag and drop the required fields from the sidebar onto the document.
If a field is not the correct size, select it and resize it using the circular grab handles.
Repeat this process as needed.
You can add multiple signature fields for the same signer. To add fields for another signer, select a different person from the drop-down menu before placing their fields.
Note:
You cannot select someone as a signer if they do not have access to the document. Find out more.
Once all required signature fields have been placed, click Next in the bottom-right corner to continue.
Send the signature request
The notification window will appear. BoardPro automatically selects the signers based on the signature fields you have placed in the document.
You can customise the greeting and include any additional comments or instructions for the signers.
Click Send to email the signature requests.
People who cannot be selected as a signer
A person cannot be selected as a signer if they do not have access to the document. Common reasons include:
They have not accepted their invitation to join your organisation in BoardPro.
The document is stored in a Board Only folder and they are not a board member.
Their access to your organisation has been revoked.
