Check if the person is tagged as a Board Member

If a Board Member is incorrectly listed as an attendee, first confirm whether they are tagged as a Board Member in the People list.

  • If No, you will need to mark them as a Board Member.

  • If Yes, remove and re-add them to the meeting.

Check their Board Member status

  • Open the People page.

  • Scroll to the non-board members section.

  • If your Board Member is listed under non-board members then click the context menu (three dots) at the end of their name.

  • Select Edit.

  • In the Edit Person pop-up, select the Board Member checkbox.

  • Click Save Changes.

They will now appear under Board Members (with a green tick beside Board Member) and will be presented correctly in the Agenda and Minutes.

You can also confirm this on the meeting details page under the attendee list:

  • Board Members are shown in green

  • Non-board members are shown in blue

Remove and re-add the attendee

If the person is already tagged correctly but still appears incorrectly:

  • Remove them from the attendee list.

  • Add them back to the meeting.

Important: If the agenda has already been published, you will need to republish the agenda after making changes.

Important information about People list updates

Changes made to the People list only apply to future meetings and do not affect past meetings.

Still need help?

If they still are not appearing correctly after checking the steps above then check if they have a start date added on your Board Profile page

If the issue persists, contact BoardPro Support at support@boardpro.io or via the blue chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
