What is an Account Owner?
The Account Owner is the person responsible for managing the account and making subscription-related decisions in BoardPro. This person is identified with an "Account Owner" tag on the People List page.
This person requires login access and must have one of the following access levels: Administrator, Chair, or Board Secretary. They do not need to be a Board Member.
If your account owner is also the contact person for your subscription and invoices, please get in touch with BoardPro support to update the information. You can reach us via the blue chat icon in the lower right corner of BoardPro or by emailing support@boardpro.io.
Changing the Account Owner
Note: Only the current Account Owner can transfer ownership to another person on the board.
You can update the account ownership via the People tab in your Board account, found in the left-hand navigation menu.
To transfer ownership:
Go to the People tab from the left-hand navigation.
Locate the person you’d like to make the new Account Owner.
Click the three dots (context menu) next to their name.
Select Make Account Owner.
In the pop-up box, type Transfer and click the orange Transfer button.
