Remove Access

How to change or remove the access for a member in BoardPro

Written by Rajit Theodore

When you remove someone from your organisation’s People List, this will:

  • Remove their ability to log in to this BoardPro account

  • Remove them from your People List

  • Remove them as a meeting attendee from future meetings

  • Enter a close date on any interests associated with this person

Historical records, such as meeting attendance and action items, are not removed.

Any pending action items will be cancelled, or their name will be removed if there is a multi-owner action.

Any private notes or comments they made in BoardPro will be permanently deleted.

Note:

If this individual is designated as the Meeting Administrator for upcoming meetings, their name will be removed and all future meeting reminders will be sent from notifications@boardpro.io.

They will still be included in any open votes or circulated minutes. During the voting process, the administrator may cast a vote on their behalf.

Remove access from the People List

  1. Go to the People page.

  2. Click the three-dot menu beside the person’s name.

  3. Select Remove.

A confirmation window will appear asking you to confirm the removal.

Note:

As an added security measure, you must type “remove” before clicking the red button, as this action cannot be reversed.

4. Click Remove.

A confirmation message will appear showing that the removal has been completed and outlining the changes made.
