Search and find previously discussed matters

Written by Mike Patterson

Overview

You can use BoardPro’s Meeting Documents search to find keywords in the titles of:

  • Documents attached to agendas

  • Agenda items

  • Minutes

  • Actions

  • Decisions

  • Board Packs

You can also locate decisions by:

  • Using the Decision Register for approved decisions

  • Reviewing the relevant Meeting minutes for unapproved decisions

Note: The search function only searches document titles. It does not search within the body text of attached documents.

Search Meeting Documents

  • From the left navigation menu, go to DocumentsMeeting Documents.

  • Use the search bar to enter a keyword.

Search Results

BoardPro organises historical Meeting documents chronologically, making it easier to locate past records even when exact dates are unknown.

Search results display:

  • The document, agenda item, or minute title

  • The related agenda item (if applicable)

  • The Meeting title and Meeting date

  • The document file type (for example, PDF or Word)

  • Whether the result is an agenda title

  • Whether a minute is a Note, Decision, or Action

Open Search Results

Selecting different areas of a result will open:

  1. The specific Agenda Item

  2. The Meeting Details page

  3. A preview of the attached document

  4. The Context Menu can also be used to open or preview agendas and minutes.

Note: This is a high-level search across multiple Meetings. To search within the text of attached documents, use the search tool within an individual Board Pack.
