About the Board Pack
BoardPro’s Board Pack is designed to help board members efficiently prepare for upcoming meetings. It follows a consistent structure and includes navigation tools to make moving between the agenda and associated documents easy.
Structure of the Board Pack
The Board Pack includes the following sections:
Cover Page – Displays the meeting name and date
Index Page – Lists all attached documents in order
Meeting Agenda – Outlines the structure and flow of the meeting
Attached Documents – Supporting materials linked to each agenda item
Cover Page
The cover page appears at the beginning of the Board Pack and includes:
The meeting name and date
Organisation branding or logo (if enabled)
Index Page
The index page functions as a directory, providing a quick overview of all documents included in the Board Pack.
It displays:
Agenda item number and document sequence – for example, “2.1a”
Document title – the name of the file or agenda item
Board Pack page number – useful for printed copies
Note: Document titles in the index and agenda are clickable links that take you directly to the corresponding document within the Board Pack.
Agenda
The meeting agenda appears immediately after the index page.
Each agenda item includes any associated documents. These linked documents allow you to jump directly to them with a single click.
Attached Documents
Following the agenda, you will find all supporting documents.
Documents are ordered according to their position in the agenda to ensure a logical flow for board members reviewing meeting materials.
Navigation Aids
While reviewing your Board Pack, you will see navigation tools that help you stay oriented while reviewing materials.
Top left corner – displays the meeting title and meeting date
Top right corner – shows the agenda item number the document relates to
Tip: Select the agenda item number to return directly to that section of the agenda.
These features make it easy to move between agenda items and supporting documents.
You can use the Thumbnail view on the left to jump to a specific document. To open your main window, you can scroll up and down and click on the document in the left thumbnail view.
You can also use the Outline button to open your Outline view and select a part of your pack to jump to quickly.
