  1. What types of files can be uploaded?

BoardPro will accept most common file types that a governance board would use. Accepted File types: .csv, .doc, .docm, .docx, .dot, .dotm, .dotx, .em, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .msg, odp, .ods, .odt,.pdf, .png, potm, .potx, pps, ppsm, .ppt, .pptm .pptx, .rtf, .txt, .xls, .xlsb, .xlsm, .xlsx, .xlt and .xltx

If you require another file type, please let us know by requesting those in the Ideas Portal.

2. How big can a file be?
BoardPro will accept files up to 50MB in size.

3. How many files can I upload at a time?
You can simultaneously upload 10 files at a time. At this time BoardPro does not limit the number of documents or total size (i.e. GB) of your repository.

4. How many documents in total can we store in BoardPro?
At this time we don't have any limits on the total number of documents, or the total GB (Gigabyte) size of your repository. Fair use terms apply. 

5. Is it possible to attach an email to BoardPro?
Yes, you can add an email to BoardPro. In your email program look for "save as" and then save it into your documents. You can then upload or attach the email to your agenda, minutes or into Documents.

6. Where is BoardPro's data centre located?  
Our primary data centre is located in Melbourne, Australia. If your board has specific geolocation requirements for your documents please contact us and let us know.

7. Who can access the documents?
Access to the documents is managed by the access level provided to each user. Governance documents are restricted to board members (those with a tick next to their name), the board secretary, and the administrator. See the article on Roles and Permissions to learn more.
