I invited a board member. How can I tell if they have accepted?
On the People page in BoardPro, you can check who has login access.
If a Board member has login access, they have accepted the invitation and completed their registration. Those without login access have not yet completed or received the invite.
How can I help a Board Member who has forgotten their password?
The main login page (https://app.boardpro.io) has an option for users who have forgotten their password. They must enter their email address, and a reset token will be sent to them. For more detailed instructions, check out this guide: How to reset your forgotten password.
How can I change the name of a Board Member?
There are two ways to update a person's name in BoardPro:
Administrators, Board Secretaries, or Chairs:
Go to the People page.
Click on the member's name and make the corrections in the pop-up box.
Individual Board Members:
Log in to BoardPro.
Click on My Account under their name in the top-right corner and update their details.
Can I change someone's email?
If the person is listed on your people page and has a status of 'Invitation pending' then an admin level user can edit their profile to update their email. They'll need to send a new invitation once they update the email with the 'Grant Access' option.
If you have login access, you need to update your email address yourself. Go to your profile settings and follow the steps to change your email.
If you do not have login access (for example, if you no longer have access to your old email), you will need to be re-invited with your new email address. An Administrator, Board Secretary, or Chair can add you as a new user with your new email, grant access, and remove the old user account. Historical information remains, but current actions need to be reassigned.
