Copy a link to a Document
To share a Governance Document, open the document and select Copy link in the top-right corner.
Anyone on your People list with permission to view the document can use the link to open it directly. Users without permission, or anyone outside your BoardPro account, won't be able to access the document.
You can copy a link to a document directly from the document list without opening it.
Select the context menu (...) next to the document, then choose Copy link.
Copy a link to a folder
Links to Governance Documents and folders are useful when you want to direct board members to a document without including it in a Board Pack or Report.
You can also copy a link to a folder, including a Board Only Folder. To do this, first create the folder. Then select the context menu (three dots ...) next to the folder name and choose Copy link.
Use document links in agendas and minutes
Paste the link wherever you need it, such as in the Description field of an agenda item or in your minutes.
For a cleaner appearance, you can add the link to text instead of displaying the full URL. Select the text, then select the Link button to insert the link.
Tip: Set the link to open in a new window so board members can easily switch between the Governance Document and the meeting papers.
Anyone with permission to view the Governance Document can access it from the link in the agenda item or minutes. People without permission won't be able to open the document.
