Annotating is a feature with the Premium and Ultimate Plans. If your board subscribes to the Essentials Plan then you will not be able to make annotations within BoardPro.
Note: Annotations are private and only visible to yourself.
With the BoardPro annotation feature it is easy to make notes on the board pack while you prepare for the upcoming meeting.
From the Meeting page click on the Board Pack. Select the “View & Take Notes” option.
When the board pack opens:
On the left hand side is a list of the agenda documents. Scroll through the list to find the document you need and click on it. It will open on the right hand side.
Use the top right tool bar to select from the highlighter, pen, note, text box, etc.
To review or manage annotations, use the Annotations menu to view all your notes. Documents with annotations are marked with an orange ‘pen’ icon on their thumbnail. Notes can be deleted from within the menu.
Please note that if you are using a smaller screen -you have the same features just the layout is a bit different.

Text
Shapes
Searching
Full Screen mode
Printing/Download - if you cannot see these options it could be that your organisation settings do nor allow for this. Please speak with your Chair or Administrator.
You can also mark up the text by highlighting the text and then you can choose to highlight, strike-through, or underline it.
When you click on an annotation tool a sub menu opens where you can change the colour, add a background colour, font, size or transparency.
What if I cannot find the annotation toolbar in my Board Pack?
Look for it in the top-right corner or upper section of the Board Pack interface, as its placement varies by device.
Can I share my notes with other board members?
No, all notes and annotations are private and visible only to you for confidentiality.
What subscription plans support annotations?
Annotations are available for Premium and Ultimate plans. Essentials plan users can review documents but not use annotation tools.
Annotating Previous Versions
You can also annotate previous versions of documents uploaded into the Board Pack.
