It is not recommended to un-confirm minutes once they have been confirmed, as this can create governance issues. However, if necessary (for example, if signatures were not added), confirmed minutes can be reversed in BoardPro.
Important:
Any changes should only be made after full disclosure to the Chair and the Board.
Note:
This option is only available to Administrator, Chair, and Board Secretary roles.
The meeting where the minutes were confirmed must be in Draft Minutes for you to reverse them. If the meeting is in the Minutes in Review stage, you must roll it back to Draft Minutes.
Reverse confirmed minutes
Go to the meeting where the minutes were confirmed
In the relevant agenda item, click the three dots (context menu) next to the confirmed minutes
3. Click 'Reverse'
4. In the pop-up box, confirm that you want to reverse. Note that if there were previous signatures or any amendments made at the time of confirmation, these will be removed.Once the previous minutes have been unconfirmed, you can click Confirm to add any signatures or make any necessary changes.
