To use BoardPro AI Minutes, you'll need a transcript file from your meeting. You do not need to download the meeting's audio or video recording.
If you use Zoom or Microsoft Teams, you can download the transcript after your meeting. You can also use transcripts from other platforms if they are saved in a supported file format.
Download your transcript from Zoom
Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
Go to Recordings & Transcripts and select Cloud recordings.
Select the meeting you want to use.
Locate Audio transcript and download the transcript as a
.vttfile.
Note: Audio transcript is Zoom's name for the transcript. You only need the .vtt transcript file for BoardPro, not the audio or video recording.
Download your transcript from Microsoft Teams
Open Microsoft Teams and go to the chat for the completed meeting.
Select Recap.
Select Transcript.
Select Download and choose
.docxor.vtt.
Note: Your ability to download a transcript may depend on your Microsoft Teams permissions and your organisation's settings.
Using a transcript from another platform
You can also use a transcript created by another meeting or transcription platform.
BoardPro AI Minutes supports the following file types:
.vtt, .pdf, .srt, .sbv, .doc, .docx, .docm, .dot, .dotm, .dotx, .rtf, .txt, .odt and .json.
The maximum file size is 50 MB.
Tip: If your platform only lets you copy the transcript, paste it into a Word document or plain text file and save it in a supported format before uploading it to BoardPro.
What's next?
Once you've downloaded your transcript file, import it to your meeting in BoardPro and use AI Minutes to generate your draft minutes.
