What is an Account Owner?
The account owner is the person with the authority to make account and subscription decisions in BoardPro. The person who is the Account Owner is tagged on the People List page. In addition to these responsibilities, the Account Owner can also update billing contacts and is the primary point of contact for BoardPro support regarding account issues.
In case your Account Owner is also the contact for your subscription/invoices, and needs to update the billing contact, you should complete the billing contact form provided by BoardPro. For additional help, contact BoardPro support using the support button on the top right of BoardPro or email us at: support@boardpro.io.
Changing the Account Owner
Only Account Owners can transfer ownership to another person on your board.
Ensure the new Account Owner has the role of Administrator, Chair, or Board Secretary with login access.
Navigate to the People page in your BoardPro account.
Locate the desired new owner, click the three dots (context menu) next to their name, and select Make Account Owner.
Type "Transfer" in the confirmation pop-up and click the orange button.
