Flying Minutes are available on the Premium and Ultimate plans.
By default, Flying Minutes automatically calculate an outcome based on the participation requirements configured for your board or committee.
If you need to change how the outcome is determined (for example, to extend voting or account for a member who is unable to vote), you can switch to a manual outcome and re-open the Flying Minute to apply the new settings.
Update the Flying Minute outcome settings
Go to Settings and select the Quorum & Participation tab.
Scroll to the Flying Minutes section.
Change Flying Minutes Outcome to We will manually set the outcome.
Re-open the Flying Minute
Open the Flying Minute.
Click the Context menu and select Re-open Voting.
Note:
Re-opening the vote does not notify voters.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the voting countdown.
Select Close Now, then click Update.
The Flying Minute will close immediately and recalculate using the new manual outcome setting. You can then manually set the outcome of the Flying Minute.
Tip:
Participation requirements, such as requiring 100% participation, can prevent an outcome from being reached if members abstain or do not vote. Switching to a manual outcome gives you greater flexibility when exceptional circumstances arise.
