Trouble logging in to BoardPro

If you can’t log in to BoardPro, the issue may be related to your password, Multi-factor authentication (MFA), account access, or browser settings.

Select the issue below that best matches your situation.


I’ve forgotten my password

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page.

  1. Go to the BoardPro login page.

  2. Select Forgot password?

  3. Enter the email address used for your BoardPro account.

  4. Follow the instructions in the password reset email.

If you don’t receive the reset email

  • Check your Spam or Junk folder.

  • Make sure the email address entered is correct.

  • Wait a few minutes and try again.

If you still don’t receive the reset email, contact the Customer Success team on live chat or email support@boardpro.com.


My multi-factor authentication code isn’t workings

If your authentication code isn’t accepted when logging in, check that you are entering the correct code from your authentication app or email as applicable

Authentication codes expire quickly and refresh every few seconds, so make sure you enter the code before it changes.

If you changed or lost your phone

If you no longer have access to your authentication app, your multi-factor authentication may need to be reset.

Ask the Account Owner of your board to contact the BoardPro Customer Success team on live chat or email support@boardpro.com to request an MFA reset for you.


Invitation email issues

If you’ve been added to a board but can’t access it:

  1. Check you’ve received the invitation email from BoardPro.

  2. Ask your board administrator to select Grant access in the People tab to resend the invitation.

  3. Open the email and follow the link to set your password.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

If you’re locked out due to MFA:

  • Contact your Account Owner or Chair for assistance.

  • They will need to reach out to the Customer Success team through email (Support@boardpro.com) or Live chat to request MFA to be disabled.


Email address changes

If you no longer have access to your registered email address:

  1. Contact your organisation’s BoardPro administrator.

  2. Ask them to update to the preferred address in the relevant board or account and grant access.

  3. Log in using your new email address once updated.


Multiple organisations

If you belong to more than one organisation:

  • Log out completely.

  • Log back in using the exact email address associated with the organisation you want to access.

  • Repeat as needed for each organisation.


Account status

If you still can’t access your account:

  • Confirm with your administrator that the board or account is active.

  • Contact BoardPro Support via live chat (Support Button top right) or email support@boardpro.com for further assistance.


I didn’t receive my BoardPro invitation email

Some organisations use network or email security settings that may block BoardPro notifications.

If you didn’t receive your invitation email:

  1. Check your Spam or Junk folder.

  2. Confirm with the person who invited you that they used your correct email address.

Ask your IT administrator to these details to your organisation’s safe sender or whitelist settings:

Domain boardpro.io

Hostname o1.mta.boardpro.io

Sending IP 167.89.21.21

From addresses : notifications@boardpro.io; no-reply@boardpro.io; support@boardpro.io


Use a private window

  • Open a private browsing session:

    • Edge/Safari: New Private Window

    • Chrome: New Incognito Window

  • This disables most browser extensions and ignores stored cache, which can resolve login conflicts.


Check for updates

  • Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.

  • Confirm your device operating system (including iOS) is up to date.

  • Restart your device to clear background processes.

  • If the issue continues, try a different browser.


My email address has changed

If you no longer have access to your registered email address:

  1. Contact your organisation’s Account Owner or anyone with the Chair, Board Secretary or Administrator access role.

  2. Ask them to add you as a new user with the preferred address in the relevant Board and/or Committee and grant access.

  3. Log in using your new email address once updated.


I can log in, but can’t see my board

If you can log in but your board or organisation isn’t visible, your access may have been removed.


This can happen if a board administrator (anyone with the Chair, Board Secretary, or Administrator access role) has removed your access.


You will still be able to log in, but the board will no longer appear in your account.

Contact the Account Owner or a board administrator to request access again.


The login page isn’t loading or keeps failing

If the login page isn’t working correctly, the issue may be related to your browser, device, or network.


Before troubleshooting, try the following:

  • Refresh the page

  • Open the login page directly: https://app.boardpro.io

  • Try logging in from a different device on a different network

Tip: Try logging in from your smartphone using mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
If this works, the issue is likely related to your usual device or network.

If you cannot log in from another device, contact Customer Success via live chat or email support@boardpro.com.

Troubleshooting

1. Clear your browser cache

Clearing your browser’s cache can resolve login issues caused by stored data or outdated files.

After clearing your cache, close and reopen your browser before trying to log in again.

2. Disable browser extensions

Some browser extensions can interfere with login forms. Try temporarily disabling extensions and log in again.


Alternatively, open a private or incognito window, which bypasses most extensions.

3. Try another browser

If the issue continues, try logging in using another browser.
BoardPro works best with the latest version of modern browsers such as:

  • Chrome

  • Edge

  • Safari
