The Voting and Quorum feature is available on the Premium and Ultimate plans. Boards on the Essentials plan cannot use voting.
What is a quorum?
A quorum is the minimum number of board members required to be present for a meeting to proceed and for decisions to be made.
The quorum requirements for your organisation are typically defined by legislation, your constitution, or other governing documents.
Please also feel free to read our blog post. Do we have a quorum?
Configure your quorum
You can set your quorum requirement as a percentage in Organisation Settings on the Quorum & Participation tab.
BoardPro sets the quorum to 50% by default. To change it, use the up and down arrows next to the percentage field.
Note: Quorum is met when attendance exceeds the percentage set in BoardPro. Ensure your quorum percentage is configured to align with your organisation's quorum requirements.
If the number of attendees falls below the quorum requirement, BoardPro displays an alert above the attendee list on the Meeting Details page.
Quorum FAQ's
Apart from appearing on the meeting page, does it appear anywhere else?
Yes: it appears when a Vote is closed, and there are not enough supporting votes
