Add an External Link to the Agenda

Add external links to an agenda item using the Description field.

Add an external link

  1. Open the agenda item and locate the Description field.

  2. Click the Link icon in the Description toolbar.

  3. Copy and paste the URL into the link field.

  4. Enter a title in Text to Display.

  5. Choose whether the link should open in the current window or a new window.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Click the tick (✓) in the Purpose field to save the agenda item.


Access the link

Once added, the link will appear in the agenda item. Board members can access the link from:

  • The Agenda

  • The agenda item preview

  • The Board Pack
