Flying Minutes is a feature with the Premium and Ultimate Plans. If your board subscribes to the Essentials Plan then you will not be able to see Flying Minutes

The second part of the Flying Minute is the Vote.

This is the stage after the discussion and the amount of time open for the vote is set by the Host

  • only the Chair, Administrator, Board Secretary or Senior Executive can be a host

  • once everyone has voted the Flying Minute automatically closes

Two ways to access the vote:

Email: In the email that is received, you can click directly onto the blue button or paste the link into your browser. Note: if you are not currently logged into BoardPro first you will be directed to the login page

  • this will open up the Flying Minute Directly where you can cast your vote

Between Meeting Page: You can vote directly from this page or click on the title to open the minute and see how the vote is going

On this page you can see:

  1. The stage the Flying Minute is in

  2. How much time is left on the vote

  3. Blue Cast Your Vote button

  4. The results: see people have been voting and how many are left to vote

When you vote:

  1. Your name will be displayed with how you voted

  2. You have the options to Support, Oppose or Abstain

  3. Add a comment on why you voted (optional)

  4. Please vote carefully -your vote cannot be changed

If you are unable to cast your own vote: whether you cannot access a computer/ mobile device or you do not have login access to BoardPro you can request for the Host to vote for you.

  • at this time they can also add a comment on your behalf of why you chose to vote this way

  • You will receive an email confirmation of how the vote was cast for you so that there is transparency
