Which authenticator apps are supported?

You may use any authenticator app that supports a time-based one time password (TOTP). Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator and Authy are three of the most commonly used authenticator apps.

Why do multiple codes for BoardPro appear in my authenticator app?

This is likely because you have disabled MFA at some point, and have since re-enabled it again. BoardPro is unable to make changes to your authenticator app, so when you disable MFA in BoardPro, you will need to manually remove BoardPro from your app to prevent duplicates.

Why am I still getting asked for a verification code after disabling MFA?

It can take time for BoardPro to completely remove MFA from your account. If the issue persists for longer than a few minutes, refer to your Login & Security settings and ensure that MFA is no longer showing as "Enabled". If MFA is not displaying as "Enabled", or repeated attempts to disable MFA aren't working, contact our support team.

I've lost my phone and can't use my authenticator app, how do I access BoardPro?

If you need assistance gaining access to your account, contact our support team. They will ask to verify your identity and/or seek approval from your account owner or board chair before restoring your access.

I am replacing my phone, what should I do?

You should first login to BoardPro and either change your MFA method to email or turn off MFA. Then you can login to BoardPro using either email MFA or with no MFA.

Next, remove the BoardPro MFA account from the Authenticator app on your old phone.

You can then setup MFA on your new phone when you are ready.
