Voting is available on the Premium and Ultimate Plans. If your board subscribes to the Essentials Plan, you cannot vote.
Voting settings are available on the Quorum & Participation tab in Organisation Settings.
Only Chairs, Administrators, and Board Secretaries can edit these settings.
Choose how vote outcomes are determined:
Manual – Set the outcome of each vote yourself.
Automatic – Allow BoardPro to calculate the outcome automatically based on the percentage of participating board members required for approval. When enabled, the vote outcome is calculated automatically when the vote closes.
Handling non-votes
Choose how BoardPro handles abstentions and members who do not vote:
Count as supporting the motion – Abstentions and non-votes are counted as votes in support of the motion.
Do not count – Abstentions and non-votes are excluded from the vote calculation.
If there are too many abstentions or too few members participate in the vote, BoardPro alerts the minute taker that the voting requirements have not been met.
