Flying Minutes is a feature with the Premium and Ultimate Plans. If your board subscribes to the Essentials Plan then you will not be able to see Flying Minutes

Check your settings under the Organisation Setting -Flying Minute Automation

To add a Flying Minute -under Meetings, go to the Between Meetings page and click on the green Add button

In the box that opens:

  1. Add a title

  2. Select an organiser (only those with the access role of Chair, Administrator, Board Secretary, or Sr Executive will appear on the list)

  3. Add the start and close time of the vote

  4. Set a Reminder Notification that the vote will be closing β†’ 4 options to choose from including: Never, 2 hours (default), 8 hours, and 24 hours

  5. The Voters. BoardPro automatically adds everyone who is a Board Member as a voter (those with the tick mark next to their name on the People page). If you need to remove any voters, BoardPro will alert you if your Flying Minute Automation settings have not been met.

  6. Change the greeting and how their name will appear in the email notification

  7. Add in the motion (this is compulsory)

  8. Attach any required supporting documents

Once all the information is added you have the options to save it as a draft or start the Flying Minute

  • If Draft is selected this will not be visible to the Board Members until you are ready and click on Start Flying Minutes.

  • Once you click Start, BoardPro will send out an email notification to everyone who has login access from the Voters list
